Children's Services

We welcome guests ages 8+.
Effective June 15, all children's services are priced the same as adult services.
For guests under 14, cuticle cutting will only be performed with parent or legal guardian consent.

Cancellations & No-Shows

We understand plans change: please let us know in advance.

Cancel or reschedule at least 2 hours before your appointment.
Late cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows will be charged 50% of the total service.

(Emails are not accepted for cancellations.)

Late Arrivals

A 15-minute grace period is allowed.
If we’re able to accommodate you after that, a $20 late fee will apply.
Arrivals past 15 minutes may result in a canceled or adjusted appointment.

Service Changes & Deposits

Dropping a service upon arrival: $20 fee applies for the reserved time.
Changes must be made 2 hours before your appointment.
Aprés Gel-X & Design services require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your artist’s time.
Deposits may be transferred or refunded upon request by phone. (Refunds are not automatic.)

House Rules

To maintain a calm, professional environment:

No food or phone calls inside
No waiting guests
No children under 8
No pets (emotional support animals are not considered service animals)
No cash refunds or store credits: please communicate adjustments before your service ends

Additional Notes

Appointments may run up to 20 minutes behind due to unforeseen delays.
Prices reflect short nail length styles unless otherwise noted.
All online bookings are treated as requests. If your preferred time isn’t available, we’ll contact you to adjust.
Artist requests can be added in the comments section. (Requests are not guaranteed.)
No artist requests for Wednesday Power Manicure deals.

Client Responsibility

Please communicate your preferences during your service.

Once a step is completed, additional changes may incur an extra fee.
All completed work will be charged as a finalized service.

Tomy Rivero Beauty Lab / Beauty Café: Liability Waiver

By booking and receiving services, I agree to the following:

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that nail and skincare services (including manicures, pedicures, gel, enhancements, facials, dermaplaning, extractions, etc.) carry inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, abrasions, irritation, allergic reactions, infection, or unsatisfactory results. I voluntarily accept all risks.

2. Health & Allergy Disclosure

I agree to disclose any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to service. Failure to do so releases the Company from any resulting liability.

3. No Guarantee

Results vary based on individual factors. No guarantees are made regarding outcome or longevity.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under New York law, I release and hold harmless Tomy Rivero Beauty Lab, Beauty Café, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, reactions, losses, or damages arising from services received, including dissatisfaction or allergic reactions.

5. Limitation of Liability

Any liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the service.

6. Aftercare Responsibility

I understand that failure to follow aftercare instructions releases the Company from responsibility for any adverse results.

7. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and defend the Company against any claims or legal actions arising from services provided.

8. Dispute Resolution (New York)

Any dispute shall be handled exclusively in the State of New York, with venue in New York County (Manhattan).

9. Final Sale & Chargeback

All services are final sale. By booking, I agree not to initiate chargebacks for services rendered.

10. Consent

By booking, I confirm I have read, understand, and agree to all terms, house rules, and liability waivers above.
